Faculty and Staff:
Please help us get the word out to our students about today’s deadline to order their academic regalia. Here are the basic details:
- Our plans to celebrate the graduates of 2021 include some type of an in-person ceremony (following NYS health and safety guidelines) and a virtual commencement celebration.
- In order to participate in the in-person ceremony, graduates are required to wear academic regalia (a cap and gown). Opportunities for graduates to wear their regalia in our virtual celebration will also be available and announced.
- The deadline to order academic regalia is Monday, March 15, 2021. Order online at www.buildagrad.com/hvcc (there is no cost for students eligible for graduation).
Also, students completing program requirements this spring or summer should submit their degree/certificate application as soon as possible if they haven’t already. Completed applications must be submitted by April 7 to be listed in the Commencement program and are available at www.hvcc.edu/registrar/.
Updates on the college’s commencement plans will be announced in the weeks ahead.
